Rangeman barbie. Too funny!

Poor Stephanie is off to get an application at the Personal Products Plant. Gotta hand it to her for being so tenacious, but dang, that'd be embarrassing. I made an error, it wasn't Grandma who ran over Morelli, but Spiro. Then Steph brings in Lula to babysit Morelli after he's released from the hospital. Bob sure does hack up a lotta stuff, doesn't he? 
I love it when JE says Steph "docks" the Buick. That's just the perfect way to describe it.

Oh my goodness, yes, docks the Buick. Exactly how it must look and feel. I guess the hacking up stuff ain't so bad, but the pooping out the undigestible stuff, ewww. You are right about the Morelli hit and run. Yeah. I love how then he has to go around with a cast and crutches. I can't remember for sure, but doesn't he say the last time I got hit I got to look up your dress to Stephanie? Hunky Hollywood star type and quips too. Yum. This book is one of my favorites in the series. Though I gotta say some of the bad guys are so ick, and the morticians are totally creepy. Kate |

I agree, Kate, that some of the bad buys are ick. I find that often with them, especially that boxer in the beginning of the series, the one who raped and
hurt Lula badly. He, IMO, was the worse and I honestly don't know how I got past that to on to book 2.
Yes, Morelli did say that the last time he was run over at least he got to look up Steph's dress.
Bob with the hacking and pooping is funny. Steph says that during the day, she likes to walk Bob, but doesn't then like having to pick up the poop and carry it around with her. Hard to look sexy carrying around a bag of poop. At night she and Bob are the "phantom poopers". Leaving it where it lays.

didn't buy the book. Was a bit disappointed lately with Mrs. Evanovich.

I read 15 and I liked it a lot. I don't think that I liked 10 and 11 as much as the rest of the series. So it took me a while to get back in the groove
since then. But I guess I didn't have high expectations.

Okay, Haidee. Will be sure to bring in spoilers for ya!
When I first read 12 a few years ago, I was a tad disappointed. Enjoyed the funny parts, but the rest was so serious. The kidnapping and endangerment of a child, hiding that Ranger was behind the scenes with FBI approval, it was all just too serious for me at that time when I wanted more lighter moments. This second read thru has been much more interesting. Not concentrating so much on the lighter side as I am now on the background of Ranger. And of course, the ending, almost the ending line in the story. That Steph admitted she loves Morelli and tells him so. But also that she loves Ranger as well, but doesn't say it outloud. I really enjoy the push/pull Steph has with all the men she has in her life and I'm including Diesel in that.

It was one of those more serious ones, and I too wish that she wouldn't do the dark stories. I really prefer the bad guys to be like the masturbator pickle. I liked all of those things as well. I loved the part when Stephanie tells Morelli that the mini ranger thinks he has to kill Ranger so he can have a life, and Morelli says I know how he feels. That one gets me every time. Kate |

Ha! On both the masterbator pickle and Morelli thinking if he could get rid of Ranger he could then have a life.
I agree, Kate. It's the comedy that's the backbone for me with this series. Too much drama and I may as well read something else. Some of my very favorite moments are going after FTA's and ending up zapping them unsuspectingly. Especially if they are nude and bent over. And of course, they keep zapping Joyce and then coming up with reasons why she just must of passed out.
Joyce is a fungus. One of my favs!
